Autoclavable Steamer Line HF cartridges are gamma irradiated for aseptic applications where autoclaving is required.
Upstream Clarification and Cell Harvest:
Downstream Concentration/Diafiltration:
A laboratory scale cartridge with recommended batch volumes from 10–850mL.
A laboratory scale cartridge with recommended batch volumes from 150–3,000mL.
A pilot scale cartridge with recommended batch volumes from 400–8,000mL.
A pilot scale cartridge with recommended batch volumes from 1–25L.
A production scale cartridge with a recommended batch volumes from 5–250L.
Gamma irradiated, glycerin free and autoclavable, the Steamer Line is specifically developed for aseptic and cell perfusion applications. Can be used with a Repligen XCell ATF® system or crossflow pump operated perfusion system.
Reuse up to five (5x) times. Simply clean with 0.5 – 1.0 N NaOH, store in 0.1 N NaOH, then rinse and autoclave separately, in an assembly or in a bioreactor for cell perfusion applications.
Gamma irradiation and subsequent autoclaving eliminates microbial batch to batch contamination. No need for antimicrobial agents or time-consuming cleaning validation.
Validated to withstand a gamma irradiation dose of 27.5 to 45.0kGy.
Humectant free with 80x extractables compared to glycerin conditioned cartridges so no pre-use rinsing is required. Save labor, process time, and the cost of DI/WFI water and excess buffer.
Come assembled which reduces set up time and avoids installation errors.
Run different applications simultaneously or sequentially within the same (or smaller) footprint. Autoclave or replace the Steamer Line cartridge between runs. Move up from lab to production scale processes with minimal effect on your work space.
Choose a wider diameter cartridge with larger membrane surface area and the same length to scale from lab samples to process batches with no change in performance.
Our facility in Marlborough, MA is ISO 9001:2015 certified. All hollow fiber membranes are developed and manufactured, and each cartridge is assembled in our facility.
All hollow fiber membranes are tested for tight pore size distribution and water flux specifications assuring high batch-to-batch product consistency.
Post-manufacture integrity testing of all cartridges eliminates the risks of product bypass or membrane failure during operation.
All materials of construction are USP Class VI and FDA 21CFR parts 175-177 compliant, meet the USP Physicochemical Test for Plastics standards, and are 100% lot traceable.
Steamer Line cartridges stored at room temperature in their unopened original packaging are warrantied for 24 months from date of labeling. See Terms and Conditions of Sale for further details.
