2011 WaterSep Launches Single Use Gamma Irradiated Hollow Fiber Cartridges. “Connect-use-discard.”
WaterSep has developed a unique line of single-use, glycerin free(GF), low extractables hollow fiber cartridges, that significantly reduce the cost of ownership and eliminate pre-rinsing of the membrane.
WaterSep’s single-use hollow fiber cartridges – The Green Line – are manufactured in a completely glycerin free, environmentally friendly process, hence no pre-rinsing of the membrane is required. This saves valuable time and large consumption of high purity water.
The Green Line is available in WaterSep’s well accepted hollow fiber format for laboratory and process applications. Please see product link: http://watersep.net/shop/category.aspx?catid=20

2009 WaterSep adds capability with new 0.5 mm
and 2.0 mm ID modified antifouling hollow fiber membranes.
Whether you have diluted protein solutions, a cell
clarification application or a viscous process stream WaterSep can offer a
membrane with the optimum cut-off, the right fiber diameter and a hollow
fiber cartridge with the perfect length and surface area.
0.5 mm: Ideal for processing
clean, low viscosity solutions including concentration and diafiltration of
proteins and enzymes.
1.0 mm: Ideal for processing
particle laden, viscous solutions, including concentration and
diafiltration of cell broths, cell debris and vaccines.
2.0 mm: Ideal for processing
large particle laden and very viscous solutions, including concentration
and diafiltration of highly concentrated cell broth.
With 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm ID hollow fiber cartridges,
WaterSep can address most of your application needs.
We also apply our extensive membrane and application
experience to develop dedicated products for custom applications in
biopharm and medical markets.
With 9 different membrane pore sizes, 3 hollow fiber
diameters and 9 cartridge configurations, WaterSep wants to become your
dedicated source for membrane separation applications.
July 2008 WaterSep introduces 3 more membrane cut-offs and 0.1 µm micro
filter! WaterSep has added a 30K, 300K and a
500K MWCO to its product line.
• The 30K is optimized for monoclonal
antibody concentration and diafiltration. • 300K is our dedicated
vaccine membrane, designed for concentration and purification in vaccine
processes. The open flow format of hollow fiber is ideal for large fragile
molecules like vaccines. • The 500K membrane is our tightest cell
separation membrane and is well suited for E.Coli lysate clarification,
when a 750K or 0.1µm doesn’t produce a particle free permeate.
Our 0.1 µm hollow fiber cartridge is particularly well suited
for mammalian cell clarification during monoclonal antibody production. The
membrane retains the cells, while passing the antibody > 99%. The 0.1 µm
membrane is also ideal for most clarification applications in the food and
beverage industry.
All 4 membranes are available in the Explorer, Investigator and the Producer series.
July 2008 WaterSep introduces fully integrated LABTOP Positive
Displacement Pumps WaterSep is pleased to introduce the LABTOP bidirectional
positive displacement sanitary pumps from Flowtech, a high quality
manufacturer of pumps and valves for the pharmaceutical and food and
beverage industry.
The LABTOP integrated pumps are “plug-and-play” and are
available with different capacities from less than a liter/min up to 130
liter/min at 30psi. Please click here for further info.
April 2008 Welcome to
the new WaterSep web site. We hope you will find it a valuable source for
filtration application knowledge and membrane products information. Our aim
is to create a long-term relationship with our customers based on "best-in-
class" customer service, superior product performance and demonstrated
loyalty to our customers, distributors, and partners.
In addition to being WaterSep’s technology and product site,
we hope that it will also become your site—as it evolves into a
communication resource between customers, scientists, process engineers and
the WaterSep team.
To learn about a new membrane application, get advice about
existing applications, discuss process optimizing strategies, or explore
any other cross flow related problem, please contact us. Our mission is to
improve your membrane separation process and, ultimately to make you
successful in your business.
Over the next several months look for more exciting news from
WaterSep which we hope you will find interesting and valuable for your
membrane separation processes.
